Overview
The Upper Grand District School Board provides a superior and affordable education to our international students, with personal and attentive service and a safe and nurturing environment.
The UGDSB is in close proximity to Toronto, which is the capital city of Ontario. UGDSB schools are in traditional Canadian communities, where over 95% of residents speak English as their first language. Our offices are located about one hour’s drive west of Toronto in the city of Guelph, which is the largest city and primary urban centre in our district.
The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) serves approximately 32,000 students in a broad geographical area that includes two counties, County of Dufferin and County of Wellington.
We have 11 secondary schools, ten of which offer the International Student Program:
