As CCVI approaches its 50th anniversary, the original 1967 motto holds true: Success through hard work. With a staff dedicated to excellence in learning and to the individual growth of each student, Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute is ranked (by the Fraser Institute) as one of the top schools in Ontario – 32nd out of almost 700 schools in the province!
THE CORE VALUES: Social Responsibility ⋅ Community Involvement ⋅ Respect for Others
THE MISSION: To equip each student with the knowledge, attitude and skills they need to pursue excellence – by providing creative programs and innovative technology, within a safe and inclusive community.
THE COMMUNITY: Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute is walking distance to the University of Guelph main campus, where CCVI students might participate in some of the public events and lecture series offered by the renowned research and agricultural university. CCVI is also a very short walk to a major shopping mall, where students have easy access to such services as ATMs and photography stores, and where they might purchase clothing and school supplies.
