School Specific Orientation Details

Please see below for the orientation information for the school for which you will attend.  If you need the address of the school, you can find it by clicking ‘School Profiles’ from any of the menus or from the corresponding sidebar image.  

All of our new students starting second semester will be invited to attend our winter camp February 22-23 as outlined above.

Due to circumstances out of our control, Camp is now scheduled for February 22-23.
Saturday February 22
     The bus will pickup students at 9:00am at Westside SS and 10:00am at Guelph CVI.
Sunday February 23
     The bus will drop off student at 1:00pm at Guelph CVI and 2:00pm at Westside SS.

Centennial Collegiate Vocational Institute

Friday January 31
9:00am Welcome in room A113
9:15am English testing in room A113
11:00am Math testing in room A113
12:00pm Pizza lunch and orientation with Centennial student mentors
1:00pm Pick up
Any students unable to attend orientation on Jan. 31 should go to room A113 on their first day of school. 

Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute

Thursday January 30
Start time – 9:30am
Approx End time – 2:30pm
Please meet outside the main office.   A student will bring you to the appropriate room. New students will be provided a school tour, math assessment, language assessment, locker, UGcloud set up etc.
Pizza lunch will be provided.
Any students unable to attend orientation on Thursday, January 30, please go to the main office at Guelph CVI on Monday, February 3 at 10: 20.  

 John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute

Thursday January 30
New students please report to room Staff Cafeteria at 9am for registering and assessments. Snacks and lunch will be provided and hope to be finished by 2pm.

Any students unable to attend orientation on Thursday January 30 need to contact Ms. Frielink at cfrielink1@ugcloud.ca. She would like to schedule a meeting before the first day of school to do the student orientation. 

Orangeville District Secondary School

Monday February 3
New students report to room 119 by 8:45am on the first day of classes to meet Scott Jordan. Please bring a combination lock for your locker.

Westside Secondary School

Monday February 3
New students report to student services to meet with Christine Kirkland upon arrival to the school on the first day, first period.

Norwell District Secondary School

Monday February 3
New students report to the front office upon arrival

Centre Wellington District Secondary School
